DocClear is a plain-language document analysis tool. It uses AI to help you understand documents — letters, notices, forms, contracts, and medical reports — by explaining what they say in everyday language. DocClear is a reading aid, not a professional service.

DocClear does not provide legal, medical, financial, or immigration advice. The analysis DocClear produces is AI-generated and may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations.

Never rely solely on DocClear's output for decisions that affect your legal status, health, finances, or any matter with significant consequences. Always read the original document yourself and consult a qualified professional when the stakes are high.

You agree to use DocClear only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Upload documents you do not have the right to share (e.g., documents belonging to others without their consent)
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service
• Use the service to process documents containing content that is illegal or harmful

DocClear is intended for personal document understanding. It is not intended for bulk processing, reselling, or integration into other commercial products without written permission.

DocClear is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantee that any analysis is accurate, complete, or up to date.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DocClear and its operators are not liable for any damages arising from your use of or reliance on the service, including but not limited to missed deadlines, incorrect interpretations, or decisions made based on DocClear's output.

You retain all rights to the documents you upload. By uploading a document, you grant DocClear a temporary, limited license to process it for the purpose of producing your analysis. This license ends when processing is complete. We do not claim ownership of your documents.

DocClear is a small independent service. We do not guarantee uptime or availability. The service may be modified, paused, or discontinued at any time.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of DocClear after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
